A promo video from our recent piece about the Self, and our presentation to our surroundings. Who are we or who do we think we are? How are we formed by others? What does our body say in different situations? How can identity be portrayed organically on stage? "Me, Whilst Being Humane..." is a breath of honesty, providing an intimate insight into the life of five individuals.
We do not own the rights of this lovely song which is "Jun Miyake; Arto Lindsay; Vinicius Cantuaria-Titia Inocencia"

Performer Anna Korolainen in her independent artistic practice. In this video Anna writes poetry based on her current physical sensations within the space. She then explores these sensations and transforms her findings into a devised movement score. The exercise ends with free-writing for reflection, where the physical process has provided a further understanding of her original poetry and her current psycho-physical state as an individual and as a performer within the space.
