THE SELKIE AND HER DAUGHTER ON LAND
Years after escaping her abusive relationships, a selkie returns to the daughter she was forced to leave behind.
This R&D production by co-artistic creator Sólveig Eva Magnúsdóttir and co-creator Anna Kopacek, in collaboration with Spindrift Theatre, dives into the popular folklore of the Selkie, the seal woman, with particular attention to its themes of abandonment, entrapment, isolation, motherhood, grief, liminality and freedom.
